We had a great stay in this ryokan surrounded by mountains & near a creek. The staff was nice & the room was spacious with a beautiful view of the forest & waterfall. The common room had coffee, tea, umeshu & sake. The private onsen was wonderful with the creek's sound.
Absolutely nothing.

We stayed in a ryokan nestled among serene mountains and forests, next to a flowing creek and a beautiful temple. the staff treated us well and we enjoyed the delicious dinner and breakfast. Our expansive room overlooked a mesmerizing waterfall and forest at the rear, while the common room offered refreshing tea, coffee, and umeshu. We also booked the private onsen and could hear the creek from there. the ambiance was peaceful and tranquil.
The room lacked proper maintenance and cleaning, the bathroom had a persistent odor, and we encountered a few unwelcome bugs that left us uneasy.

Spent Xmas at a ryokan in the mountains with beautiful views of nature. The included dinner and breakfast were amazing, especially the soups. Loved the private onsen by the creek and the stocked common room. Chirping birds in the morning added to the atmosphere and relaxation. , being so close to a temple was a great opportunity to explore some local culture.
The room was really old and outdated. The furniture looked a bit dusty, and the tatami mat had a couple of stains.

Surrounded by mountains and forests, next to a creek. the room was spacious and offered great views of the waterfall and forest in the back. the common room was well-stocked with beverages and private onsens allowed you to hear the creek. Breakfast at the nearby temple was something special, the soups were particularly noteworthy. It was peaceful and relaxing, with the sound of birds in the morning.
The staff was friendly enough, but not overly helpful or welcoming. Although the location was beautiful, it was quite remote and required quite a bit of driving to get to other attractions or restaurants.
